Reconciliation Day at Avoca Public School

Reconciliation Day celebrations were held at Avoca Public School, along with students of Wingello Public School and Avoca Public School community members, who also attended. The students participated in a range of activities on the day, including sports, cooking, art and storytelling.

Students from Wingello and Avoca Public School make damper.

The damper was then placed in a fire so it could be cooked.

Students also learnt about different Aboriginal symbols through drawing and painting.

Students participated in fun outdoor games and activities.


Students also participated in storytelling activities.
