Students visit Carrington Falls and create ochre paintings

In June, a group of students visited the local state forest at Carrington Falls. The site is significant because it sits right at the border of Gundungarra and Yuin land.

Led by our local artist, Wendy Lotter, the students created ochre paintings, which were later carved with the symbols for the school’s ‘Our Ways’ ways of learning. It was a wonderful day, and all the students learned a lot about traditional ways of learning, living and being.
